Since purchasing the house, we have made significant improvements to the downstairs accommodation.
We have very much appreciated being in a cul-de-sac (no through) road, as this means the street is very quiet, despite being so accessible to shops and close to the city centre. It is possible to walk to everything you need, and has open green spaces in most directions.
Highfield Avenue is a friendly and welcoming community, with a mixture of families and people who have lived here for many years. The old farmhouse to the back of the property is an unusual aspect.
