Sutton Courtenay is a village in the Vale of White Horse district of Oxfordshire. It is situated on the south bank of the River Thames, approx.2 miles (3 km) south of the market town of Abingdon-on-Thames and 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Didcot. Being close to the River Thames there are a lot of lovely trails and paths for walking and a new park is also due to open shortly in addition to two others in the village. There are two convenience stores, a petrol station and three Public Houses.  With regards to education there is a primary school close by with a selection of private and state secondary schools in nearby Abingdon and Didcot.  Sutton Courtenay is serviced by buses and the nearest rail station is Appleford which is just over a mile away or Didcot main station is circa 4 miles away.

We purchased this property as a family of 5 initially so it was a great space for us.  We absolutely love Sutton Courtenay, it's so quiet and there are great dog walks available on our doorstep. Due to changing circumstances we have decided to move and we will be very sad to say goodbye to our street as we've made some life long friends since moving in 5 years ago.
